In RoboCop, the year 2028 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robotics. Abroad, their drones were used by the military years - and that meant OmniCorps billion to the bottom line. OmniCorp now wants to bring back the controversial technology, and they see a great opportunity to do so. When Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) - a loving husband, father and good cop doing everything possible to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit - was seriously injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp saw his chance of part-human, part - robot policeman. OmniCorp provides RoboCop in every city and even more billions for their shareholders, but they never count on one thing: there are people inside the machine, in order to achieve justice. |
